  1. A:  I think he was a good Canadian. Just on a 
  2. practical level I think he enjoyed living in Toronto 
  3. and teaching at the University of Toronto, and I 
  4. think that a lot of his examples and associations 
  5. were Canadian examples. I think particularly his 
  6. view of American television, through in a sense the 
  7. Buffalo filter, was very important to understand. 
  8. His understanding of the global village I‚Äôm sure 
  9. begins with crime reports from Tonawanda‚Äîhe 
  10. got that kind of knight‚Äôs move distance from the 
  11. American media that all Canadians, or all thinking 
  12. Canadians automatically get or used to get when 
  13. they tuned in, and I think that‚Äôs actually a crucial 
  14. element.
